I’ve been saying this for a while, but here’s the simple truth:
In 2026 a PW1100G-JM (GTF engine) leases for 200-290K/Month (I’m told average is about 240K)
An A320NEO with 2 GTFs installed leases for about 300-330K/Month.
Easy math!! Wild times.
“What’s this?”
“Your next-generation space telescope, sir”
“No, no no, it’s not 2027 yet”
“It’s launching this summer now. We even did it under budget”
@Sigh_Katie Sorry I’ve flown both, in terms of pax experience and just the airplane itself, the CRJ-700/900 is way better in my opinion. IN MY OPINION, it’s not like there’s many CRJs left in existence.
They took the mistakes of the CRJ-200 and complete 180’d it for the CRJ-700/900, but the E175 was cheaper and easier to park at jet bridges so they picked that hunk of garbage.
