Committed a crime, been investigated, been charged, got legal aid, been to court, plead guilty, will get a reduced sentence for his plea, and now offers to pay the money back using frozen assets whilst the taxpayer foots his legal bill. That offer should not reduce his sentence.

This is £1.3bn of the same tax money that has forced thousands of UK businesses to shut up shop and sent tens of thousands of Brits to the benefits office.

He confirmed the cash raised under Nicola Sturgeons appeals was never kept separate.

It went on day to day SNP activity and election campaigning not ring fenced for a 2nd referendum as promised.

So much for those promises that every penny would only go to the independence referendum.
