It would be really cool if ex-#Rays Triple-A RHP Matt Buschmann finally made his MLB debut. https://t.co/Lm1fDiHmuG

#Dbacks purchase RHP Matt Buschmann. That is, he has a locker and Kyle Drabek does not.

I saw that ex-#Rays farmhand Jose Alberto Molina got a win for the #Angels yesterday and was exceedingly confused...but it was an ST game.

Fun fact: MLB single-game strikeout record by a team was set 24 years to the day before I was born. I am pretty pleased with that.

@MAC5351 Thanks for the concern, George. I am no longer at RCG, but my life is going well and hopefully you will hear my name again someday.

Glenallen Hill went off in an SSS after being a trade deadline acquisition not once, not twice, but three times. https://t.co/rYfwcsXa7B

If you want to see how bizarre baseball's arbitration system can be sometimes, look at the raises for M. Trumbo and T. Snider after 2014.

@PrTwain Something like that. On the other hand, way too many mediocre hitters destroyed him.

To explain that further, being better overall was associated with being slightly worse against Shields! (Min 10 PA vs. him, 500 overall)

[Robbie Knopf @RobbieKnopf]

Amusing totally random stat: from 2011 to 2013, there was a negative correlation between overall OPS and OPS against James Shields.
