My Dad, a truck driver, was in San Francisco for his route from Socal. Days after the quake, a homeless person waved him over and asked if my Dad could take care of his black lab. 2 years later I was born and loved our family dog until her passing in ‘99 and now I work in SF.

@SFBayFerry This is great news! I live in Antioch & have my house for sale so I can move to Vallejo & take the ferry to work in SF. The ferry is such an economic dev. draw for the region. The new proposal worries me but would love to hear an alternative for frequent passengers like myself.
