@Shukaminerals_ has completed the acquisition of 100% of Leopard Exploration and Mining Limited, securing full ownership of the Kabwe Zinc Mine.

The mine has historical production averaging 25% zinc, with grades of up to 43%, and is estimated to contain more than 14.56 million tonnes of remaining ore resources valued at over US$2 billion. A phase one development of part of the resource is forecast to deliver pre-tax cash flows of US$1.84 billion and a net present value (NPV10) of US$561 million.

Following completion of the transaction, #SKA’s chief executive has been granted 2,000,000 warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares at an exercise price of 12.5 pence each.
