A cannabis professional striving to become a leader in the industry. The community around cannabis is hungry for better business and more value. Help me find it
@FLGOPMajority @SpencerRoachFL @ChrisSprowls You should explain how you're going to do that... We saw in 2020 what happens when you meet mob violence with police violence instead of addressing the issue at hand, more violence.
@eightyATE@RAlexAndradeFL @EyesOnFLMJ To clarify, like how prescription meds have dosing limits. This logic ignores the very nature of cannabis as a medicine. Self prescription is it's strength and this plant has so many unique varieties and effects that one rules can not effectively apply to all varieties.
@eightyATE@RAlexAndradeFL @EyesOnFLMJ We actually had a good back and forth, with no animosity. I disagree with him but I'm glad I reached out and expressed my views. My takeaway: Him and his colleagues feel there should be more standards if cannabis is medicine. Like prescriptions having limits.
@sangerrr@garyvee Right?!? I see the cap as a reaction to a need for regulation. The industry needs help and way forward via the state government. Unfortunately, the cap is not the best point to start the conversation around...
@PetenutGallery@RAlexAndradeFL @EyesOnFLMJ ππ€£π You have no idea what I'm up to. I choose to be a part of this industry everyday because I think it is where I can make the most impact. I would love to own a dispensary one day, that isn't possible right now in Florida. I know what my job is and it ain't this^
@TheFLweed@DonBurda1 @EyesOnFLMJ Thank you for sharing. Your story is important and I will remember it as I continue my work in this community. Stories like yours are responsible for so much of the ground we've gained in regards to cannabis and I tried to remind @RAlexAndradeFL of that today.
@LeBrianJames420@RAlexAndradeFL @EyesOnFLMJ Not to change topics but I don't shop there or work there... I'm actually part of the management team at a Fluent dispensary. My comment on this post is to remind our community to carry-on with kindness so we can be heard clearly. Talk to the other side, understand the why...
@EyesOnFLMJ @str8takes @RAlexAndradeFL I want that energy conveyed in our messaging. This is such a beautiful community and we deserve more from legislation but ourselves as well. One thing for sure is the work is just getting started so buckle up and blaze one up!!!
@DonBurda1@TheFLweed @EyesOnFLMJ Maybe... What's your claim? Mine is the dozens of patients I help everyday that come to our store and tell me how they are able to live there life normally because of cannabis.
@TheFLweed @EyesOnFLMJ @Trulieve I rally behind those warriors in the community that advocate for us and do it in a way that we are proud of. I understand the passion behind the topic and even more my reason to remind us to carry-on with kindness so our message is heard clearly.
@EyesOnFLMJ Um, they didn't do ANY market research, medical research, talk to constitutes, a doctor, or the FDOH BEFORE they brought this bill. After they wouldn't engage a single citizen UNTIL he was busted being an ass. So please tell us more about HIS point of view.π
@str8takes @RAlexAndradeFL @EyesOnFLMJ My comment about finding a path forward is to allude to the idea of advocating for a future we all feel good about. I don't support a cap and I know the community doesn't deserve this. I still picked up the phone called him and shared my views. I did it all with kindness too...
@TheFLweed @EyesOnFLMJ I asked "What are you trying to accomplish with the THC cap?" He responded, "Just to have the discussion..." Dialogue with someone who publicly disagrees with you is never easy. What I hope to highlight is that you can make your case without deploying hate, if it's a good one.
@CelticTechVicki @ottoman_beyazid @EyesOnFLMJ @RAlexAndradeFL Don't foster hate! Foster change... I'm against the cap but I'm also against taking digital pot shots you haven't met.
@JohnMorganESQ @SpencerRoachFL Spencer should spend one day inside a Florida Medical Marijuana Treatment Center and then tell me how you would want to take away the products that are helping patients everyday to live their lives. Have you even been in one Spencer?
