This one-day seminar is designed to provide an outline of the opportunities, challenges and supports that students with special educational needs encounter in their transition from Primary to Post-primary school.

Outcomes
Participants will:
·Practical ideas to support transitions
·Examine legislation, policy and indicators of good practice relevant to transition.
·Consider activities and strategies which will lead to more successful transitions.
·Explore the Bridges of Transition in supporting students with their transition from primary to post-primary.
·Explore the difficulties and challenges experienced by students with special educational needs during the transition process.
·Investigate reading, resources and materials to assist in managing the transition process.
·Engage with case studies to support their planning for the transition process

Great win for the KCVS Junior girls soccer team today who had a fantastic 5-3 victory over Colaiste Cois Siuire. Fantastic performances from Brianna Kelly who scored a hat trick and Mary Jackman who scored two goals. Great teamwork and spirit shown by the girls💙 ⚽⚽

Our 5th-year biology students recently completed their Cell Model Project, producing a wide range of detailed plant and animal cell models. The effort and creativity put into the work were evident, with students including a high level of detail on organelles and their functions
