Finwood Top 40, week 23
- After 2 weeks at #1, it's over for Dutch singer Blanks: there's a new ruler!
- American metalcore band Glasslands is the highest entrant.
- The Hit Smasher goes to a new entry as well: 'Repeat It' by Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran.

If you see some of the comments beneath this tweet... yikes. π¬
Now, I'm not a gamer, but why would you throw a tantrum over playing as a female character because you think it's... woke? Woke, how? Just enjoy the game's contents, for fuck's sake. π

So I have decided to start a thread with my top 5 favorite entries from each countries, starting with Albania. I will try to update this thread as frequently as possible, but due to the new daily tweet limit, I cannot cover all past and present Eurovision countries in one day.
@taylanaslock Well, that's the benefit of knowing all Eurovision years: more diverse lists like these. I don't see enough mentions for songs like Diamond of Night and Keelatud maa.
1. City Lights (2017)
2. Wake Up (2019)
3. Before the Party's Over (2024)
4. A Matter of Time (2018)
5. The Wrong Place (2021)
6. Strobe Lights (2025)
7. Release Me (2020)
8. Because of You (2023)
9. Dancing on the Ice (2026)
10. Miss You (2022)

@PkmnAnon What's really ironic about this is that the style NoA wanted to go with is PRECISELY the aesthetic that Digimon ended up going for:
Digimon's original art style in the 90s was heavily influenced by western comics and graffiti, and did use sex appeal for things like Angewomon etc
"It's definitely for the best they were cut, but I will not be satisfied until someone uncovers all the redesigns that Nintendo of America came up with. I need to know what kind of trainwreck NoA thought would be more appealing to Americans than the "too cute" originals."
