Such a weird play, when they could actually commit to journalistic impartiality (mad to think the BBC was once the gold standard for this!), creating content without woke agenda, and serving the fee payers that fund their activities - then they'd lose fewer license fee payers (maybe even gain some back) and could continue to broadcast more varied content.

Instead trapped in a cycle of:
- focus on making crap and lies
- license payers leave
- less money to make more stuff
- cuts good varied content in order to.....
