@Stonekettle Interesting analogy. However, we do get to see the "Toadie" later on in the movie after he gets his fingers chopped off. He meets his demise when he stumbles upon a bomb in Max's car.
It doesn't matter if a doctor is fat or if an economist makes $50K a year, their arguments are still valid. Moreover, typos and grammar error do not invalidate the points being made. 1/
I can recall when someone on the net tried to invalidate the medical industry because a doctor was out of shape. Or when another person tried to dismiss the critiques an economist had of their get rich quick scheme by talking about their yearly income.
Some thoughts: solidarity is not a matter of whether or not the side you empathize with supports you back. It should be about recognizing their struggle and hoping they rise above it.
Por aqui gente poniendo que porque no conocen a nadie que ha muerto de COVID, que por eso no es tan peligroso. Bajo esa lógica, sino conoces a nadie que haya muerto electrocutado, le puedes meter la lengua al enchufe de la lavadora.

The link will send you to a Brian Garfield interview, in which he talks about the novel and the films. He mentions that, despite having liked the first film, the movies failed to portray his concept of vigilantism as a power fantasy.
@MilesGrant@brofromanother Fun Fact: Death Wish is based on the novel written by Brian Garfield. From some articles I've read on the internet, the original novel was against vigilantism, and some of the issues regarding prejudice on part of the vigilante are explored.
Just a thought about treatment against COVID-19 and those who oppose it:
I've seen some anti-vaccine people rail against the vaccines as they believe that ivermectin, an oral drug, is effective against the virus. Now, I will not tackle it's effectiveness, 1/
but illustrate a point. Had ivermectin been the treatment from the start, I bet that said crowd of people would have opposed it as well, stating that it's a plot of "Big Pharma" or the Gov. to keep us under control or for some other nefarious purpose.
A rule should be applied to Universities that forces them to send you a complementary shirt, after rejecting the application for which you had to pay a nice amount of money to submit.
Not being bitter, though.
Have you ever smelled your freshly cleaned laundry and deeply thought about the name of the fabric softener you used? I mean, does the smell live up to the "Ocean Dream" name?
