105 years ago today — May 31, 1921 — horror came to Tulsa.
A thriving, self-made Black community known as "Black Wall Street" was brutally attacked by white mobs in one of the most devastating acts of racial violence in American history.
They burned it to the ground. Hundreds of Black-owned homes and businesses — symbols of pride, prosperity, and hard-won success — were looted and reduced to rubble. At least 36 Black residents were murdered, over 800 were injured, and thousands more were left homeless, their dreams and life's work destroyed in a single night of terror.
A community that had risen against all odds was violently crushed. We remember Greenwood. We remember the lives stolen. We remember the pain that still echoes.
Keep posting this so people don’t forget how truly bad this event was.
Don’t let people gaslight you into thinking it was peaceful and worthy of 1500+ pardons and slush fund payoffs.
🚨THIS IS THE BEST CLIP OF HIS ENTIRE RALLY. 🔥
JON OSSOFF: “Did you hear what Trump said two weeks ago?
Quote, “It's not possible,” the president said, “for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, or Medicare.
He said we can only afford to fund war. Then released a budget demanding $1.5 trillion or the Pentagon next year alone —
paid for by ending utility assistance for families, canceling affordable housing programs, and cutting cancer research … all to fund a huge increase for the military industrial complex.
Because draft-dodging Donald loves sending other people’s children to war."
Boom.
🚨BREAKING: An ICE agent has FINALLY been charged, with TWO felony assault charges, for pointing a gun at U.S. citizens, in Minneapolis.
And a nationwide warrant has been issued for his arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, Gregory Morgan, 35, was driving an unmarked SUV on the shoulder of Highway 62… flying past traffic to bypass a rush-hour bottleneck. When another driver briefly moved over to slow him down, Morgan didn’t just move on…
He pulled alongside their car, rolled down his window, and pointed a gun directly at both people inside while still driving.
The victims called 911, saying they thought a random person was aiming a gun at them. One even recorded video of the SUV, which helped investigators track him down.
Morgan later said the same line every ICE agent says…
He pulled the gun because he “feared for his safety” and yelled, “police.”
But, prosecutors say he wasn’t responding to any emergency or operation… he was simply heading back to a federal building to end his shift.
Surveillance footage shows him riding the shoulder, pulling up next to the victims, and staying there for several seconds before speeding off and merging back into traffic.
He’s now facing two counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, each carrying up to seven years in prison, and a nationwide warrant has been issued for his arrest.
And this wasn’t an isolated incident, or just one “bad agent”…
This is the kind of behavior we keep seeing, again and again, from ICE agents… because this administration has created an environment where they act like they’re above the law.
While the same agency is given more power, more funding, more authority… while operating with less and less accountability in communities across the country.
@CorbinSmithNFL Old guys like us have the benefit of remembering classic James Bond films. Without the gems of the spy genre as a reference, Austin Powers loses its magic; with the reference, it’s majestic
🚨 White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt today:
“Our nation was founded, almost 250 years ago, on Judeo-Christian values.”
The Treaty of Tripoli. 1797. Signed by Founding Father John Adams. Ratified unanimously by the Senate:
“The Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.”
Thomas Jefferson — who wrote the Declaration of Independence — was a deist who literally cut the miracles out of his Bible.
James Madison — the father of the Constitution — explicitly warned against the “diabolical hell conceived principle of persecution” by state religion.
The First Amendment’s opening words:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”
They put it first.
ICE violently detain father legally working in U.S.—injure daughter's leg & rip out her nose piercing.
"I told them that I was a U.S. citizen," she said.
"We don't care," agents retort. "That doesn't matter.
Agents were "dressed in everyday clothing"—and refused to show ID.
Father was then put in a white van and taken to an unknown location—his family still can't be sure who took him or where.
Rutilio Rosales is living legally in the U.S. with a work visa—that doesn't expire until 2029.
He was simply attending to a routine traffic violation at the Wilson County Courthouse in Lebanon, Tennessee.
A father told his daughter, "Congrats on your graduation. I bought you a car a while back. I want you to have it now."
Before I give it to you, take it to a car dealer in the city and sell it. See how much they offer.”
The girl came back to her father & said: "They offered me $10,000 dollars because it looks very old"
Father said: "Ok, now take it to the pawn shop".
The girl returns to her father & said: "The pawn shop offered $1,000 dollars because it's a very old car & a lot of work done".
The father told her to join a passionate car club with experts & show them the car.
The girl drove to the passionate car club.
She returned to her father after a few hours & told him, “Some people in the club offered me $100k because its a rare car that's in good condition.”
Then the father said, "I wanted to let you know that you are not worth anything if you are not in the right place. If you are not appreciated, do not be angry, that means you are in the wrong place. Don't stay in a place where no one sees your value ."
The moral of the story : Know your worth and know where you are valued. A diamond doesn't shine on the bottom of a cave.
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen on the internet.
Afroman had his house raided by Ohio Adam County deputies… who found absolutely nothing… broke his door, trashed his place, allegedly had $400 go missing… and then they refused to pay for the damages.
So, like any reasonable rapper would do…
He turned his home security footage into music videos, mocking them.
And then, the deputies sued him for FOUR MILLION dollars… because they didn’t like being made fun of.
And Afroman’s response?
He dropped ANOTHER music video.
In his own words:
“Unconfidential informant lied to Police to get out of some trouble. Adam County Sherriff officers made a mistake by believing the lie. Raided my house, found nothing, refused to pay for the damages and filed a lawsuit against me, Afroman, for exercising my freedom of speech! This is me holding trial in one song. I hope you enjoy it.”
They said his videos “ridiculed” them… so he decided to show them what that actually looks like.
And the best part?
A jury basically said… yeah… you don’t get to raid someone’s home, end up in their surveillance footage, and then cry because they used it to make fun of you.
