Alexander “Xander” Kazanowski, 25, was found unresponsive with severe head injuries around 3:20 a.m. on March 24, 2026, near a bar in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood.

He passed away four days later on March 28. The Cook County Medical Examiner ruled it a hom*cide from blunt force trauma.

Police released clear photos and video of four persons of interest: three black men and one Asian woman. A $10,000 Crime Stoppers reward was offered.

As of early August 2026, more than four months later, not one of them has been arrested.

Kazanowski was a father of a young daughter and was expecting a second child. His wife and kids are still waiting for justice while the people captured on camera remain free.

Roger Borkum, 52, a former World Trade Center worker who narrowly escaped the September 11 attacks, has died after a brutal assault, according to authorities.

The suspects are 13, 17, and 19 years old—and some people argue the younger suspects should not be prosecuted as adults.

I believe every one of them should face adult charges.

What happened was not harmless.

Authorities say they approached him as a group, repeatedly assaulted him, and left him with injuries he never recovered from.

This man survived one of the darkest days in American history…

But he couldn’t survive what allegedly happened on the streets years later.

He deserved dignity.

He deserved peace.

He deserved the chance to grow old—not to have his life cut short by a violent attack.

Accountability matters.

And the response should reflect the seriousness of what happened.

I have truly awful news...

A 61-year-old White grandmother who BEAT CANCER TWICE has just been BEATEN TO DE*TH by a Black man... just because she opened her door.

Her name was Susan Gehrke, she was 61 years old.

Police say a violent, repeat offender...WHO WAS LET OUT OF PRISON EARLY FOR ASSAULTING A PERSON UNTIL THEY WERE DISFIGURED... punched Susan so hard, the blow broke her dentures clean out of her mouth.

Susan fell, hit her head, and was knocked unconscious with brain bleed and later passed away.

The attackers name was Dahseir Jefferson, he also brutally assaulted another person, sending him to the hospital in critical condition too.

Jefferson has an extremely long and very violent history of charges.

He was sentenced to five years in prison in February 2021 and was released in October 2024.

Susan's family said they were upset Jefferson was out and able to commit the crime against their loved one in the first place.

“How many innocent people and family members have to be taken before the state figures out that you can’t rehabilitate people like this?” said Frankie Zills.

That's the right question.
