@MarkGraham_Akl Surely you can corollate, a house takes max a year and often under 6 months to build. Election 2023, rents down two years after that. All whilst the Feb 2025 to Feb 2026 figures show reducing supply and increasing demand
Labour caused record high rents and house prices
@Suitandtie9999 National etc were never going to get those seats in any event. If Green get the party vote and TPM the candidate vote then we will have an overhang again.
@SonofOmahu Ministers should be able to appoint their own CEO for these departments, ministries etc. They in turn their own exec and leadership teams. Gov bureaucrats-beneficiaries are strongly left leaning. Front line are less political and generally want to be helpful in my experience
@bobmccoskrienz@GreenpeaceNZ@drug_nz Calm down Bob, regulation is only for the Right of centre, Leftie get a free pass. Add waiperia and "I pay myself and my family over a $m" charity staff
@nzpoliticsgroup It is $30 if you have a community services card ($90 if you don't) and you can have as many as you 'like'.
At least travel to the clinic is covered by the phallus that is their Publice transport policy
We are just spinning decek chairs.
@CitizenBomber 68 seats RW 62 LW, that's the biggest margin for a while. Also TPM won't get 6 seats so more likely 68 - 59.
So Right won't be panicking and NZF and ACT will have more influence.
@GregPresland $9bn a year in interest we have for Labours borrowing. That is more than we pay on Police, Justice, and corrections. 3 years at $9bn, guess what, that's $27bn ($26.9bn)
@CitizenBomber Surely someone with a podcast should be better informed?
In very clear terms, NZ is under no obligation to pay anything as a result of meeting or not the Paris Accord targets. 95% of participants will also fail.
Maori backlash would that be the stagnant TPM vote?
@CitizenBomber as 70% of the children are Moari so I think it does deserve to. Also Department of Corrections still has larger Maori text than English, also appropriate
