@GetUpESPN @SteveSmithSr89 @SaturdayJeff Aren't there down markers on the field? Doesn't the scoreboard give down and distance? There is no excuse for this, but to be fair, I have seen other QBs do this on 4th down as well.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@TheHerd @colincowherd @jasonrmcintyre The excuse train 🚆 goes on and on for Sam Darnold. Where was the new OC excuse for Jalen Hurts? Nowhere. The Eagles had no real run game last year or this year. Where was that excuse for them? Nowhere. Has Darnold hired the Cowherd P.R. firm? Sounds like it.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Everyone is trying to figure out how Jayden Daniels & Dan Quinn didn't know what down it was. Aren't there down markers on the sideline? If not, I know every scoreboard gives the down & distance. This is inexcusable for both of them. However, I have seen other QBs do this before.

Breaking news: The NFL shield is going to be replaced with an emblem that better reflects the league. Every good play has flags these days. The NFL has more flags then the U.N. #NFL #newemblem

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

I sure hope that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman don't break up. They are like an old married couple at this point who finishes each other's sentences. They have inside jokes, too. Come on, guys. Think of the kids (audience). I know they were better with Collingsworth, but, oh well. 😂

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Why was that hit on Diggs not a penalty? He was defenseless and hit in the head with the defender's helmet. Seems obvious to me. #WASHvsSF49ers

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Carolina players mocking Philly fans when the Eagles are playing with members of the training crew practically is priceless. Wow. You guys are great. #CHAvsPHI

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

This referee works for Carolina and any team they play. Getting up is now unnecessary roughness to this horrendous referee crew. #CHvsPHI

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

That was roughing the passer? Has Bryce Young turned into Patrick Mahomes? This ref is anti-Eagles as he didn't even want to call clear grounding by Young. He even tried to say he was out of the pocket - twice-when he clearly wasn't. He made it up with the very weak roughing. 🦅

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@cooperdejean All these trials & tribulations can destroy a team or make them stronger. I'm betting on the latter. You guys are special. Eventually you will reap the benefits of these tests. The defense was awesome last week. You did Philly proud. We need that again. Go Birds!🦅

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Wow, Michigan has bee through the meat grinder this season. Weeks 1-4 are at home. Week 5 is at Minnesota. Week 6 is a bye. Week 7 is, you guessed it, back at home. Such a grueling schedule. Not. #MichiganFB

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

That wasn't stopped forward progress. What a horrendous call. #PSUvsMICH

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@AdamSchefter @RapSheet He will probably be put on a blood thinner for a while and you can not play a contact sport on that as you could have internal bleeding. As an Eagles' fan my whole life I want him to do what is best for him. He is young and has his whole life in front of him. Football is a game.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Now I know why Penn State is struggling. Every game I watch, however briely, they mention a "transfer from Penn State." Whatever James Franklin didn't take, other teams did. Don't panic Nittany Nation as this isn't a full PSU team. It will take some time with recruiting. #PSUFB

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@joelklatt This one should be okay. JK. What a game. The teams should be #2 & #3 IMO. Notre Dame has played no one. I can't stand OSU, but I have respect for them. They are consistently good & inevitable just like death & taxes. The QBs are key. The best team in CFB has the call.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@TheHerd @colincowherd @jasonrmcintyre Sam Darnold is becoming a traveling stand up comic show. Your undying support of him shows your bias. Does his family own a pastry business? Because he is a turnover factory. My goodness. Pee Wee QBs have better ball security. You have officially bailed on Nix.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@ScottHanson You do a great job. It wouldn't be the same without you. Happy 300th.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Seattle is a carbon copy of the Eagles' 2024 season. And yet some love Sam Darnold while they dislike Jalen Hurts. When did relying on the running game and the defense become a bad thing? The Chiefs are going to try and copy it also this season. #NFL

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

Payton has destroyed Bo Nix' confidence. It is that simple. Between the injury debate earlier this season & then giving him Davis Webb when clearly Nix needs more development. A horrible move. Does Payton want Nix gone? Payton doesn't like to be challenged unless you back it up.

[Robert Caprio 🇺🇲 @RobertCaprio1]

@JalenHurts I hope all is well. Please take your time and heal. Football is secondary at this time. Wishing you all the best. Prayers up. 🙏
