installing an app and opening a Telegram Mini App are two very different entry points, even when the underlying product is built around the same character and ecosystem.

Sleepagotchi’s split between the main iOS/Android app and Sleepagotchi LITE gives the product two distinct distribution surfaces. The core app is built around sleep and wellness, while LITE exists inside Telegram as a Mini App with its own game-oriented experience.

I find that separation more interesting than treating LITE as simply a smaller version of Sleepagotchi.

A Telegram Mini App can meet users inside an environment they already use instead of asking them to make a separate app-store decision first. That changes the top of the funnel, but it also changes what the product can realistically ask from a user. A lighter entry point can focus attention on a compact game loop, while the main application can support deeper sleep-related functionality.

The Dino character helps connect those surfaces. Sleepagotchi’s current ecosystem positions Dino across its live apps and also as an on-chain collectible, which gives the character a role that extends beyond a single interface.

That creates an interesting product architecture: one recognizable IP, multiple entry points, and different levels of product depth depending on where the user enters.

The distinction matters because consumer products do not always need one universal experience. Sometimes the better approach is to let discovery, entertainment and deeper utility happen in different environments while keeping the identity consistent.

@sleepagotchi is effectively experimenting with distribution as part of product design, not treating it as something that happens after the product is finished.
