Hey, CNN: One of your reporters said that the lowered cost of insulin is because of pharmaceutical companies. That's a lie. The lowered cost of insulin is because of President Biden's law that required them to lower costs to $35 for seniors. Give President Biden credit for once.
You know who doesn't get "work from home" after Covid? Kids. Attendance rules require kids to return to school even if they are still recovering.
Cognitive exertion is a risk factor for Long Covid. TBI protocols for brain rest are recommended after an infection.

In 2005, a six-month-old kitten named Oscar was adopted by a nursing home in the US to be raised as a therapy cat. However, the workers noticed something peculiar about him.
While Oscar usually preferred to be alone, he occasionally crawled into a resident's bed and snuggled beside them.
The eerie thing about this is that the resident that Oscar would cuddle with would usually die within hours.
Initially, the staff didn't think much of it, but after this happened 20 times, they started to believe that Oscar knew when someone was close to passing away, and so when they noticed the cat next to a resident, they would call their loved ones to warn them.
Researchers speculate that Oscar could smell biochemicals released by dying cells and so chose to comfort lonely residents.
On one occasion, the staff was convinced that a resident was about to pass away, but Oscar refused to sit with them. Instead, he chose another resident who looked healthier, and that person passed away first.
Oscar died in 2022, and over the course of his life he accurately predicted over 100 deaths.
August Ray, a senior at Sarasota High School intelligently and eloquently calls for the resignation of Moms for Liberty founder, Bridget Ziegler, “Bridget, you deserve to be fired because you are terrible at your job, not because you had sex with a woman.”
The fact that the Supreme Court has granted Jack Smith’s motion to promptly decide if a president can commit all crimes w/absolute immunity is a good sign, IMO. Consider this: if the Supremes say a president can commit all crimes w/impunity, Biden will never need to leave office.
The White House threatens to cancel the patents of taxpayer-funded drugs if they're too expensive for patients to afford. Sure as hell hope he does something with Paxlovid price. https://t.co/sXKqmSApE1
NEW: Kate Cox, the Texas woman who was granted an abortion for her unviable pregnancy due to a deadly fetal abnormality, and then blocked by the Texas Supreme Court, will travel outside the state for her procedure.
@SenatorKapenga Keep going. You've almost completed the transition of Univ of Wisconsin to the Wisconsin State Trade School at Madison.
Plenty of other institutions and states happy to take talented faculty and students interested in more than just being an adequate employee.
Members of the Awaken Church have been targeting school boards in Southern California. This video from their Emerge Men’s conference shld be a wake up call re: the militant component of America’s Christofascism problem. h/t @ChristnNitemare 1/
@NoLieWithBTC This is what a medical "death panel" looks like.
Group of conservative lawyers deciding which women are worthy of treatment needed to avoid death or maiming.
Understand. The national GOP wants the entire country to run like TX.
A vote for any GOP candidate is a vote to put women's health in the hands of conservative, judicial death panels.
Here is the GOP-dominated Texas Supreme Court as they halted a lower court’s ruling that allowed an abortion for a pregnant woman whose fetus has a fatal diagnosis.
The woman, Kate Cox, cannot proceed with receiving care even though her health & future fertility are at risk.
This.
I have nothing but pity for women who must live in the apartheid state of Texas.
(Seriously unsure why other states aren't poaching workers. "Come to ____ if you want to raise a family, less than half the chance of dying during childbirth")
