#TNScienceStandards Update: Educators on the Standards Development Committee are meeting this week and examining the science standards for consistency and coverage across all grade levels.
The review process continues early next year with the 2nd public feedback survey.
The Tennessee delegation is looking forward to bringing back insights gained from #EIE21 to improve our students' educational outcomes across the state.
Tennessee is represented at the @ExcelinEd conference this week by several of our board members and staff. This conference provides our board the opportunity to meet and discuss education policy topics with legislators and other boards from across the country.
Our workshop day concluded with a tour of the @uofmemphis basketball facility and the SBE trying out the court.
While our Board and staff loved showing off their skills in the new facility, we will all return to our regular policymaking work tomorrow.

Today, we announced the FREE ACT Retake Opportunity occurring this fall for rising HS seniors to boost scores and mitigate score losses resulting from pandemic disruptions. TN is the first and only state to offer this opportunity on a statewide scale.
