👍 Mr. Patel, I can assure you that I am very real. I am an old guy who has watched, first hand, the waste in our government accumulate for over 8 decades, and have studied that historical waste accumulation since the founding of the Repulic. We need to examine every law for whether the social costs it imposes is less than the social benefits it generates. The FBI has over 35,000 employees. Probably, all but 5,000 should be cut, by spinning off most crime investigative functions to states. FBI labs can be contracted to private companies under competitive bid, and similarly with investigative units, like the old Pinkertons.

President Trump, you are right. But not only is the DOE is a con job, most of the whole progressive agenda is a con job. It is probably best to abolish entire agencies, and consolidate any essential functions to our constitutional agencies - defense, state, treasury, who can contract out many tasks to private companies using competitive bid. Maintaining competition in the supply of services prevents entrenched interests from getting too strong.
