BREAKING: MAGA world erupts in rage as American hero Harriet Tubman is finally awarded the rank of One-Star Brigadier General in the Maryland National Guard.

And it gets so much better...

"Today we celebrate one of the greatest authors of the American story," said Maryland's Democratic Governor Wes Moore at a Veterans Day ceremony. Dozens of veterans and generals attended the event at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park.

The historic bestowing of rank comes roughly 160 years after Harriet Tubman bravely led Union troops as they raided Combahee Ferry in South Carolina — resulting in the freeing of over 700 slaves.

In addition to being an abolitionist, Tubman served in the Union Army as a nurse and later as a spy and scout.

Not surprisingly, Trump supporters are flooding social media with their rage, insisting that Tubman doesn't deserve her new rank. As usual, the motivation is pure unadulterated racism.

At a time when America's future seems uncertain and racist forces are once again ascendent in our political landscape, it's important that we remember heroes like Tubman. Her belief in a better future should inspire us to fight for the same.

BREAKING: Pope Francis sounds a dire warning about democracy as MAGA-type fascism grows in strength around the world — and specifically warns against dangerous "populists."

Right-wingers are throwing a fit over this one...

"It is evident that democracy is not in good health in today’s world," said Francis, head of the Catholic Church, during a visit to northern Italy.

"Indifference is a cancer of democracy. I am concerned about the small number of people who went to vote. Why is it happening?" said Francis.

The pope compared democracy to a "wounded heart" that is vulnerable to dangerous corruption. He also explained that true democracy isn't just about voting, it's about ensuring that all people can participate.

The pope urged voters to reject "ideological temptations and populists" and embrace better cooperation.

"Ideologies are seductive. Some people compare them to the Pied Piper of Hamelin: they seduce but lead you to deny yourself," said the pope, seemingly referring to the fascism that is gaining popularity in the Republican Party and parts of Europe.

He encouraged voters to "move away from polarizations that impoverish.

While Francis didn't mention Donald Trump by name, MAGA fans are interpreting it as a direct attack. Conservatives already disliked this pope because they believe that he's "too liberal."

Sorry Trumpers, the truth hurts. You're on the wrong side of history.

1. He's the sitting President.

3. Presidents usually run for reelection.

BREAKING: President Biden scores a huge foreign policy win as he finally convinces Israel to allow humanitarian aid to flow across the border from Egypt into Gaza — giving relief to the embattled, starving, thirsty Palestinians.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the lifesaving decision was made because Biden, who is currently in Tel Aviv, specifically requested that it be allowed.

Netanyahu vowed that his military "will not thwart" the much-needed shipments of food, water, and medicine as long as they are delivered directly to civilians.

Prior to this decision, the aid was waiting at Egypt's Rafah border crossing into Gaza but Israeli airstrikes were preventing it from crossing over.
