Sure and you’re right: least privilege has to cover the agent install path the same way it covers npm. Powerful tools stay bounded, interruptible, and reversible.

Before a team trusts a public agent harness, an install review for MCP and shell grants should check:

1. Pin + provenance: named source, publisher, pinned version (not a floating package)
2. Claim vs grant: capabilities match permissions; reject “scoped-looking” arbitrary execution
3. Default-deny shell: no pre-approved shell without owner, purpose, and a real stop; extra scrutiny if the skill ships scripts
4. Blast radius: what files, accounts, and secrets it can touch if it misbehaves
5. Setup vs collection: audit the assembled harness and marketplace packs separately
6. Confirm + own: confirmed findings only, named owner, last-reviewed date

If those aren’t met, it isn’t contained yet...
