I don't know, I reckon the people who invented maps, who printed and published them, have some kind of right to put their part of the world in the middle of it, so that they can use it for navigation.
The people who can't read, or had no use for it, didn't need to be the century of the world.
I mean, it's not super easy to zoom in on paper. Instead of being insolent about it, you could step back and think that it's quite clever that they managed to create a chart, that you could draw straight lines on and the northern hemisphere, and get your great circle bearing. And at the same chart also worked in the southern hemisphere, where very few of the ship's carrying such maps would ever go.
Just seems practical to me. All you people projecting racism and mind control, are probably doth protesting too much, about the kettle being black.
@0DonaldTrumpJrQ My question is, if they're winning so much with total control of the strait of homos how, is why does the same statement say the opponents have offered to open it. Without saying they already control it and it's already open.
@elonmusk@elonmusk ~ Almost everywhere includes most of the planet where it doesn't work?
Please, can someone share with me what we need to do to access "almost anywhere" via "Global roaming"? Starlink still says "not available" in most of the world.
@POTUS
Expecting a gaff; instead witty (hawk) rebound.
"How do you respond to the Kremlin calling this a โcolossal risk,โ Mr President?
@JoeBiden "It is: ... for them."
Here is the transcript on the Whitehouse press page (i.e. to show it's not fake)

@LayahHeilpern Lols, Quantum Physics not useful for Onlyfans?
โค๏ธ๐๐!!
I've got Math, Engineering, History, and Business degrees. They were all well suited for the time. I use my degrees to bring precision and context to my day-jobs.
If your degree wasn't valuable then, why would it be now?
It was widely reported as true, and confirmed by the individuals on many occasions over time. I recall the look on Melinda's face when someone asked her about it on camera. It was painful.

@krassenstein If you're serious

@shellyKC2105@LadyJ_47 @NicoleBone84 @EdKrassen Yeah.... my focus is getting this planet set up for future generations to live safe, excellent lives. Reading forums like this makes me wonder if it isn't time for the machines to take over. I hope humans continue to prosper, but some of our species are letting the side down. ๐
@JoeBiden The bank-robber said to the hostages/bank customers:
"Look, we want to take money out of YOUR bank and spend it. But the police outside won't let us leave, unless we don't.
So we can't leave. Therefore, In 10 minutes, we shoot one of you an hour, b'cos them. Aren't they awful?"
@LizzieMarvelly@megynkelly I think the link to strong gun laws is misplaced.
NZ, AU, UK... have strong laws due to very different social philosophies. Look at us: we tolerate suicide more ignorantly/cold-heartedly than Americans tolerate mass shootings per capita.
Both are tragic, ours is a little worse.
