My mum's mother(my grandmother) died during childbirth. She was Irish
My grandad was an engineer and went to New York during the Depression to make his fortune. Came back penniless and had to start again.

🚨 BREAKING HOMELESS PEOPLE HAVE GAINED ACCESS TO GLASGOW CITY CHAMBERS 🚨

Homeless people have today gained access to John Street at @GlasgowCC City Council Chambers as frustration continues to grow over people being left without suitable accommodation in Glasgow.

These are real people asking for help, dignity and somewhere safe to sleep.

When people feel they have nowhere else to turn, they will go directly to the doors of those responsible for making decisions.

People experiencing homelessness deserve to be heard, supported and treated with dignity.
