“Every American knew, or should have known. The man elected president last night is a depraved and brazen pathological liar, a shameless con man, a sociopathic criminal, a man who has no moral or social conscience, empathy, or remorse. He has no respect for the Constitution and laws he will swear to uphold, and on top of all that, he exhibits emotional and cognitive deficiencies that seem to be intensifying, and that will only make his turpitude worse. He represents everything we should aspire not to be, and everything we should teach our children not to emulate. The only hope is that he’s utterly incompetent, and even that is a double-edged sword, because his incompetence often can do as much as harm as his malevolence. His government will be filled with corrupt grifters, spiteful maniacs, and morally bankrupt sycophants, who will follow in his example and carry his directives out, because that’s who they are and want to be.”
It's not just that Trump won. It's that Joe Rogan, Dana White and Brett Favre won. Jailed insurrectionists won. The Alitos and the Thomases won. Vladimir Putin won. Racism won. Misogyny won. Sexism won. Global warming won. Xenophobia won. Most of all: Fear Won. That's what hurts.
Remember, trying to make sense of what makes fascism so appealing will make you feel like you’re losing your mind because it doesn’t operate on anything logical.
It is based on grievance, vengeance, cruelty, and control.
It refuses to be reasoned with.
It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.
Our poll workers deserve all our respect and support. I can't imagine what all they have to deal with right now.
Being kind and respectful to them is always so important, but it's a patriotic act as well right now too.
Please be kind and respectful when voting.
Yes. I support Harris because the rule of law matters. Trump tried to overthrow the transfer of power and would do it again. I’m more conservative than most Harris voters, but policy and ideology don’t matter for long when you elect a corrupt autocrat. Been there, done that.

From improved accessibility on the trails at William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon to new braille panels at Saratoga National Historical Park in New York, the Great American Outdoors Act is improving infrastructure and making our public lands more accessible.
In Minnesota, students are fed breakfast and lunch – no questions asked.
It’s saving families thousands and making parents’ lives easier.
That’s an investment I’ll defend every damn day.
