@ClarkCountySch Man you privileged people that have no idea what it is like to be us. I am 50 yrs old and spent my youth being stopped just because I’m black to ask what I’m doing where we going which I don’t have to answer and because I didn’t we got stopped and fucked with then let go.
At the end of the day black and brown women are going to be the most impacted. That is why we are they least protected demographic. Who are they to dedicate a women’s right to chose. Abortions are still going if you live in a certain place or if your rich… jus lost on this
“I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today -- my own government.” #MLK
Carl Stokes wasn’t just the first Black mayor of Cleveland, he was the first Black mayor of any major US city.
Cleveland has led the way when it comes to electing bold, progressive leaders. I cannot wait to continue the legacy of both Carl and Louis Stokes.
