In 1996, a 3-year-old child fell nearly 20 feet into the gorilla pit at Chicago's Brookfield Zoo. As the crowd screamed in panic, an 8-year-old gorilla named Binti approached. She gently held the child in her arms and protected the little one by keeping the other gorillas away. Then, she slowly carried the child to safety. That day, Mommy Binti saved a little innocent's life!
He Was Too Big... But Came When The Boy Whispered "Come".
A giant pitbull stands still... watching.
Big. Powerful. Almost overwhelming.
A little boy says,
"I adopt you."
Silence.
A deep whine... his body starts shaking.
He hesitates.
Then the boy softly says,
"Come..."
This footage was recorded at 11:22 PM last Tuesday at Harborlight Animal Rescue in Savannah, Georgia. The dog is a two-year-old cream pit bull mix named Pip. Pip arrived at Harborlight four days ago. She was found alone in an abandoned property. She had no microchip, no collar, and no information about her past. The staff noticed that Pip wouldn't eat if anyone looked at her. She stayed in the far corner and trembled constantly. Every sudden movement made her retreat in fear. The staff tried everything they could to help her…
Then we recorded this...
Despite being wild animals, some otters have been known to form strong,, consistent bonds with pet dogs, often resulting in regular, enthusiastic playdates.
Do you remember Teddy?
Teddy was found abandoned on the highway as a newborn. No mother. No littermates. Just a worn-out donated teddy bear - and he decided she was his mom.
He hugs her. He sleeps on her. He won't let go.
Few hours ago, he found his forever home.
But the bear came too.
Adopt. Foster. Share. Be someone's reason to keep going.
Adopt, don't shop.
Shelter security tootage from kennel 7, captured at 3:47 AM. His name is Teddy.
He's 8 weeks old. He was found in a cardboard box on the side of the highway with his siblings - he was the only one who survived.
When he arrived at the shelter, he wouldn't stop crying for his mother. A volunteer gave him an old donated teddy bear. He hasn't let go of it since.
Every night, the camera catches him doing the same thing - checking she's still there, nuzzling into her chest, licking her face. He thinks the bear is his mother.
Nobody has the heart to tell him otherwise.
If Teddy moved you, please share him.
Somewhere out there is the family he's bern waiting for…
