@mikeolsonc21@marytripp I agree Mike. Money is in the Mobile app market now days. Everyone wants to have as much access on their phone as they would on their laptop. We are a on the go society.
In Chapter 12 I was blown away by the numbers. Over 1.6 billion people (23% of the population) accessing more than 2 billion social media accounts on their mobile phones each month. This is proof that mobile apps are gaining the market share. #SMMWITC2019@marytripp
I read an article titled. Buick's quest to find different customers: 'Think differently, act differently'. A key point is that target audience is important yet flexible in SMM. Buick is trying something new, going for a younger target audience than usual. #SMMWITC2019@marytripp

@mikeolsonc21@marytripp Great ideas. We have to always be on top of the latest trends. Content and timing are always key. Always keep thinking one step ahead. Keep changing the shape and size. Don't let the content get stale.
@BrowningBabe@marytripp Yes that is a great tip. I pinned a Pinterst board last week on the same topic. They say Thursday and Friday afternoons 1-3 is the best post times for Facebook. We have to think high traffic times and what are people looking for. That could be different for each condition.
Another great chapter. I like that many classes are falling together. The four steps in the targeting SMM campaign were quite similar to what we learned in marketing class. The pattern and key point is who is your target market and segment. #SMMWITC2019@marytripp
@LauraLHolliday1 Absolutely!!! Which would we trust more a business that is organized and consistent or one that is chaotic and random? Consistent would draw more repeat traffic than random.
@KathleenMullal2@mikeolsonc21@marytripp In the social media age it's kind of a no brainer. There is so many platforms available, and the best part is that most sources are free or very inexpensive.
@mikeolsonc21@marytripp This is interesting because I never really thought of Linkedin as a marketing site. I guess we can market our skills and business at the same time. Other businesses may always be on the lookout for new talent or possible partnerships.
@KathleenMullal2@marytripp This is a good point. If we want to effectively use SMM we need to continue to look for ways to improve our sites and draw more followers. We can't just set it up and hope and leave it on autopilot.
I never really thought of SMM as a career. I thought of it as a boost for my business. In Chapter one I learned that there are many different jobs that could be gained from SMM experience. I think I will shoot for social media marketing account executive #SMMWITC2019@marytripp

@BrowningBabe@marytripp Hey Gabrielle, It is a handy guide. I never thought about page only strategy. Usually we think about getting our product message out there as much as we can, but sometimes I guess sometimes a smaller focal point is better. In this case the less can end up generating more.
@mikeolsonc21@marytripp Mike,
I think quality is good, but depending on the subject matter you have to maintain a fine line between enough and too much quantity. Enough to make us curious, but not too much to bore us.
Just finished reading 2000 Social Media Marketing Tricks. One key point I learned was suggested in the Youtube chapter. I never thought about networking with other Youubers. This is smart idea to get more traffic to your videos. What did you learn #SMMWITC2019, @marytripp
