The most dangerous phrase in men's health isn't HIV.
It's:
"I think I'm fine."
Tomorrow, we're breaking down:
⢠How to know you're actually fine.
⢠Why assumptions are risky.
⢠What every man should be checking.
⢠How to protect yourself and those you love.

Because peace of mind starts with knowing. Not guessing.
Once upon a time, i used to work at a construction site. Days when I wasn't on this machine, I'd be ferrying bricks on a wheelbarrow.
5 Lessons for the youth:-
1. Your English wonāt put food on the table. Be a jack of all trades.
2. Lower yourself below that Bachelors degree and let life teach you real lessons.
3. Luck favours the active and prepared.
4. Donāt complain that life is hard. We know that. Do something about it.
5. No one knows your whole story of life; itās okay to be judged and misunderstood.
In Femi Otedolaās words
āBefore venturing into the power sector, I decided to engage the best consultantās in the world ā¦. And that meant paying a premium. I would for the first time engage consultants before starting a business.ā
Femi Otedolaās reflection on acquiring Geregu Power is a masterclass in deal-making: he paid $13M for consulting and it saved him from a disastrous Ikeja DisCo bid that wouldāve required $400M extra capital and 13 years to break even.
His foreign partner balked at the consulting fee but Otedolaās belief was: āit was the only way to move on; we needed that expert research, advice and counsel.ā
Guess what???
He was right. Ikeja DisCo is still struggling today, meanwhile he has exited Geregu at a price of 750 Million USD, a 5.7X return after few years.
The lesson from the book below? the right professionals donāt cost you money they save you from costly mistakes
@Robertbob35 Nobody's saying this out loud so I will: Some parents didn't raise children. They made investments. And now the dividends are due. That's not a family. That's a SACCO with school fees.
Again, let me make it clear.
I have two pages that are verified.
This one and @jon_d_doee.
I don't do free ads on any of them.
If you want ads or for me to promote anything you're doing to make money, pay $20 or $10 for the main page or backup page respectively.
End.
@benmwine, you are usually the one who asks these questions.
What on earth makes an askari in a parking lot ask me for money before helping me find parking space in the scorching 1:00 p.m. heat, when I'm simply trying to park and rush to see my patient? First of all, we are not supposed to pay for parking at the hospital..surelyš¤·āāļø

1. How did we get here?
2. What happened to basic courtesy and service?
I felt so much frustration in that moment.
But honestly, fellow Ugandans, some of these issues cannot be blamed on MPs, government, or leaders alone.
š Each one of us has a role to play. Let us do the right thing wherever we are stationed. That's how nations are builtāone act of integrity, professionalism, and kindness at a time.
I would gladly tip a person who serves generously, helps willingly, and shows consideration. But it is difficult to appreciate someone who first demands payment for what they aren't even meant to be paid for, before offering basic assistance.
God, have mercy on us, and help us do better. @kyamageroandrew@PyeparFaisal

A man who only provides money raises children who trust salary⦠a man who adds prayer in the formula, raises children who trust God when salary disappears.
Doesn't she have a life of her own? Doesn't she have dreams to chase? I should NEVER be her only joy. She should build something in her life worth leaving other than "i'm Kabugo's wife." Distractions wrapped in "love" don't work with me... I'm looking 20 years ahead.
This will hurt, I've got to say it:
"Honour your father and mother." The Bible said HONOUR. Not haemorrhage. Not humiliate yourself into debt. Not fund your parent's soft life while you're eating posho and pretending you're okay. Honour. Not sacrifice.
