Over the past year, Xaman processed over $6 billion in on-chain $XRP payments—a volume that’s almost 7x greater than what the XRPL DEX fostered in 2024 alone.
This isn’t just a statistic; it’s a testament to Xaman’s role as the heartbeat of the XRP ecosystem, keeping $XRP safe.
@WietseWind Estonia is the answer 😅
Also, Poland is doing an insanely good job, it's slowly becoming the tech capital of the EU.
Eastern Europe will be the last frontier of freedom in the EU.
@daniel_wwf If someone else parties too hard and rolls out a bad update that causes emails to go down.
Then we have another fallback avenue by which we are able to offer secure support 😅
If "Xaman support" DMs or emails you, it's a scam.
Our support team is ONLY available through the "Xaman Support" xApp inside Xaman.
Please pass this on, especially to new users.
Reminder: @XamanWallet support is ONLY available in-app via the "Xaman Support" xApp.
We will NEVER email, call, DM, or contact you through any other channel.
No exceptions. Protect your $XRP.
Get world-class support directly in Xaman.
Daily reminder: don't rely on crypto wallets that use 3rd party fulfillment shipping.
They are not in charge of the data, as evidenced by countless hardware wallet data leaks.
Shipping has to be direct. Their personal data leaks are putting customers' lives in danger.
As an early adopter. Very cool tech; it felt awesome that so much health data is being read from just a finger.
But the subscription is atrocious when you factor in the quality of the data. @WHOOP and @Garmin absolutely blow it out of the water when it comes to data quality.
I can agree in an echo chamber, but I like to operate in reality.
The current record is that Cold Wallets suck at their job: keeping their users safe.
Having your personal address / details leaked by a 3rd party vendor seems like the worst scenario. Look at the number of kidnappings of crypto people in France, for example.
Using a phone for custody does not automatically mean it's a hot wallet in the traditional definition.
We suggest that users to have a phone that's separate for Xaman, and connected to the internet only in the case of a transaction. And more.
Regarding attack vectors for Hot vs. Cold - while I agree with the broad claim here, 100%, it's the reason we don't do a browser wallet. I do think this is also a bit overstated; attack vectors are there for both, they are just different and more nuanced.
I think the industry needs to step back from the Hot vs. Cold debate.
Key hygiene is #1, and there are ways to do things right and ways to do them wrong.
Goldcard was hardware; it was a cold wallet, yet people got hacked because their entropy was shit- no other way to put it.
There is a sweetspot between a mixture of Hot + Cold that I believe is the answer to securing crypto going forward. Approach we take at @XamanWallet.
It ensures usability while keeping key hygiene in check.
Also, secure enclaves have so much more at stake to be kept safe than any hardware wallet chip. The list is long, but cold + hot is the solution.
the platform/app im currently building has one central focus point:
another onchain season for the xrpl
im confident it will increase onchain activity at large and more volume for every platform
almost there
This is why you use @XamanWallet, not a wallet provider that uses "security" as marketing
When it comes to self-custody, security is non-negotiable.
Nothing can be a higher priority than building with a security-first approach.
Having over 20 million worth of XRP drained from XRP holders..
… goes silent for 4 days.
Absolute shame.
@DCENTWALLETS this is awful, you just lost that trust layer that you once had.
