White privilege doesn’t mean white people don’t struggle. It means whiteness itself isn’t the reason you’re struggling, and pretending those are the same thing is exactly how privilege protects itself.
Imagine if Kamala Harris became the first female president of the United States and then tore down the East wing, obsessed about a ballroom, started a losing war with Iran, took away health care and food from children, raked in billions, fired everyone to put her friends in their positions, fell asleep on camera consistently, mouthed off on social media, openly prosecuted people she didn’t like without real cause, started a slush fund to fund domestic terrorists, and generally lied every second of the day. She wasn’t even allowed to laugh.

How many times has this DOJ been asked what became of the $50,000 that the FBI reported it handed to Homan in a bribery sting? ... our Republican colleagues see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil"
“He knows those computers better than anybody, all those vote counting computers, and we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide, so it was pretty good, so thank you to Elon!”
