Dear @WestJet. My mother died on Friday. I flew to NL to be with her (on AC, luckily), and flew back on Saturday, to bring my kids to NL for her funeral. Arrived @ YYZ for WS 328 last night, to discover flight cancelled. On hold 5.5 hours till 2 am, no rebooking. Pls assist. 🤯

I spoke with Premier @FordNation today. I emphasized the importance of standing up for Canadians’ rights and freedoms, including workers’ rights – and I reiterated that the preemptive use of the notwithstanding clause is wrong and inappropriate.

There you have it folks, Ontario Conservatives are the first Canadian government to use the Notwithstanding clause to override Constitutionally protected Labour Rights.
