@PGHtransit nice to see sinkhole bus 6015 at waterworks the other day on the 75.After 11 years serving collier and s.hills it has a new home carrying many students and a heavy workload on the east side.Let’s hope it can run 1 more year and visit Ross before it goes on pension. :)
@PGHtransit One favorite memory taking big red on 28X loved the reclining seats, luggage racks, and reading lamps riders today will never have luxury like a neoplan metroliner.Retired 10-31-14
@PGHtransit@BatistaPgh@FTA_DOT Septa in Philadelphia will be 100 percent hybrid by 2023.Our last four hybrid buses were purchased in 2011 and only five of the 2009 hybrids remain I think prt will be free of all hybrids by end of year :(
@Turboniam @PGH_BUS_INFO@whiteboyrob92 Gillig electric buses are working well right now in many cities perhaps better track record than new flyer xcelsiors
@PGHtransit I heard we are buying some articulated electric buses next year. These are very nice buses this model also comes in clean diesel and cng septa just got 500 hybrid new flyers
@PghTransitCare @PghGuy77 @PGHtransit Someday maybe the quick get away rail trip at 5pm will return from penn Park . That was a great little train at rush hour to get to s hills village mall.Imagine the p2 connection there to t would be great 😀
@CaitlinEna@PGHtransit This helps reduce glare at night most systems in other states have same feature it's just pgh is always 10 years behind everyone else :)
@Jim_Gardner Jim I often spend time in the summer in wildwood and been watching you only about 15 years but I like the way you do a newscast and wish you nothing but the best after 2022
