As a man you are in constant competition with other men.
All men know this in their hearts.
Jeffery’s cope and say “I’m not competing with anyone else” because they’re afraid of some male competition.
But Adonis loves competition because he knows it brings out the most of his potential.
Compete on what?
On our work.
Our competition is all about the work we put into our goals, because most men’s goals lead to the same reward that we want: Freedom.
We’re basically all fighting each other to win our freedom.
As an entrepreneur you are in a battle against other entrepreneurs, working hard to make your product better than theirs to make more money, so that you can achieve more freedom.
As a guy who goes to the gym you are in competition with other gym guys to build the best and most aesthetic physique so that you can have more freedom in your choice of women.
And when you slack, when you start to believe that you don’t need to work hard, or when you cope and believe that life isn’t a competition, that’s when another guy who had his sights on you takes over. When he takes over, he gets your rewards.
Your business slows down, his grows.
You have to send your father a message telling him that you have to reduce the amount of money you give him, whereas your competition gets to surprise his father with a $5000 gift.
You attract less women, whereas that other guy starts having the Chad effect on the girl that you wanted. She’s looking up at him holding his eye contact in such a sexy way, but she treats you like you don’t exist.
Because you don’t.
You stopped competing.
You stopped providing value to the world because you adopted the modern day weak mans narrative that we shouldn’t work so hard, as if there’s no consequences to being a useless man.
If this sounds horrible it’s only because it’s a surprise from years of bullshit conditioning you went through.
This is the mindset that should have been put into you when you were young.
As a man you build your value and you do that by competing and overtaking other men BECAUSE YOU WANT THE SAME THINGS THAT THEY WANT.
Life is hard.
You cannot hide from struggle, pain or hardship.
And since you cannot avoid it
You may as well become very good at dealing with it.
Become resilient and win regardless of the difficulties life throws your way.
Evolution requires PAIN. While others complain they do not feel happy enough, I’m happy I’m struggling.
I don’t want to be happy.
I want to be great.
This is the beauty of life as a MAN.
Watched the epic interval block of #Vikram nearly 11 times. What an absolute team effort its is. The int-block starts with the kick-ass #anirudh OST for the wedding flash mob. #Loki has set the platform so well such that this portion delivers a blast.
Virat Kohli has scored 9 fifties in last 14 ODIs and 5 fifties in last 6 ODIs. Just because he hasn't scored a century in a while, people think he's out of form, but he's doing a great job despite not being at his best.
This is Jacob, he is fighting against cancer and was allowed to be part of the kiwis dressing room on Day 2. Nice gesture from the New Zealand cricket team.
Today I'm announcing my retirement from international cricket at the conclusion of the home summer, two more tests against Bangladesh, and six odi’s against Australia & the Netherlands. Thank you for 17 years of incredible support. It’s been an honour to represent my country #234
You MUST start taking action. Even when you’re terrified. Even when you don’t feel ready. Stop thinking about all the reasons why you can’t and start acting like the person you want to become.
Hanging up my #T20 shoes and #retiring from all forms of cricket! Thankful to all those who supported me in my journey, and looking forward to sharing my experience with young cricketers in the years to come.
