I can empathize with GL fans who wanted a space opera for a GL adaptation, but Lanterns does feel like a project that the team had locked in a vision for and not “how can we make a DC spin-off” in the same way that Penguin felt with its first trailer

@andrewpanton Some other recommendations would be Superman Smashes the Klan, Superman: Up in the Sky, or Kingdom Come (they art is too good to just go with the compact imho)
These are all really good places to start reading Superman if you liked the movie.

@andrewpanton Really close to the comics. The best of Superman will really make you have those warm and relatable feelings. If you’re looking for some good starter Superman stories: highly recommend these Compact books (they’re like 10 bucks) and Superman For All Seasons
