For International Women's Day here is a thread about Ms. Mira Marko Debelak, the intrepid leader of the Slav Route on Ben Nevis in September 1934. Known as 'Marko', her gender was often confused in guidebooks. But she was a women, and looked like one too.

@thealpineclub False, sorry. Since the Alpine Club was amalgamated with the Ladies Alpine Club in 1975, and the Ladies Alpine Club was founded in 1907, the combined Club has had 23 female Presidents to date.
