I'm still here, but I honestly was never very consistent, anyway (I come to Twitter mostly for breaking news and election stuff). 😜 I am also on Mastodon, just in case people wanna find me there! I hope this place can survive but I feel like Musk just wants to ruin it.
@robreiner Hey are you on BlueSky? Because someone is on there saying they are you, with some posts the same as these, but several more that don't sound like you.
@Kevin_AnR_Shine I went to your website and nothing reflects that it is 2024. And on some pages it seems like it's further in the past. The join link just takes me to an ad for a conference last year. You must be aware, but I thought I'd point it out. Doesn't give a great impression... 😬
I just supported @focus101_com on @buymeacoffee! 🎉

The whole "we were tolerant of LGBTQ people until you starting coming for our kids" narrative is especially ridiculous when you remember that gay marriage was illegal — including bans in the constitution of 30 states — until the Supreme Court ruled on Obergefell 8 years ago today
This is unprecedented. AG Kobach of Kansas announced that drivers licenses and birth certificate changes must be REVERSED for trans people.
Other states have passed similar laws.
I detail what you can do if affected.

@LouiseMensch@Kitten0409@elonmusk A word is real if people use it. Language changes to meet the needs of a speech community. A word may not be part of your personal idiolect, or even of the lexicon of some of the speech communities you participate in, but if any group uses it, it's a word. #descriptivelinguistics
I have a better idea: the Buttigiegs should call each other whatever they want, and the rest of us should mind our own business because that decision doesn't affect us.
