I did it! I'm now a Google Certified Trainer! When I started teaching, I had a chalkboard and overhead projector, and Google was about a month away from celebrating its 2nd birthday! If I can do this, anyone can!

@MrsHankinsClass For those teaching high school: your students look like adults and too often we have adult expectations from them. They're not adults; their brains literally are still developing. It's still important to teach and reinforce procedures! SEL is still important!
@ScribbledoTweet I know (logically), but I’m still a bit emotional about it. My paternal grandfather had to have both of his legs amputated because of diabetic neuropathy, and then he passed away a few years later.
I went to a neurologist for headaches and memory issues. I came out with a diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy in my legs and feet (and an appointment for an MRI to find out what’s going on with the other thing). I’m a little bit emotional about the diagnosis. 😭
@mrswyatt247 ❤️ I said no to summer school this year. This is the first summer in 22 years that I have not worked either summer school, ACT prep, or college classes at the community college.
@Rhys_Keller Can I just say that I admire everyone who said they started before the end of the previous year!? That used to be me! This year, I was just too exhausted.
