In August 1944, she was deported to #Auschwitz. Her father, grandparents, and 35 family members were murdered.

4 June 1937 | A French Jewish girl, Simone Sommer, was born in Strasbourg.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 12 February 1944 in a transport of 1,500 Jews deported from Drancy. She was among 1,229 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
