£25.60 for on-street parking in Sandbanks today, I had a valid ticket, but still @BCPCouncil issued me a PCN. The fine is £25 if paid in 14 days, so it is cheaper to commit an offence than to park legally. Where is the logic in this?

@orchid_b The pink and reds are always at the top, and when the aurora is closer, looking up it is harder to see the pinks through the green. Because they are distant, we are more able to see the tops of the columns because of our viewing angle here in the UK. That's my thinking anyway.
