Smart irrigation with hydraulic-aware scheduling
Zroshua is a new Home Assistant add-on that controls irrigation through existing switch and valve entities. Its scheduler considers water-source capacity, pumps, flow limits, and conflicting groups, allowing several zones to run in parallel without a critical pressure drop.
Watering duration can be adjusted using weather, temperature, and soil-moisture data. It also includes one-time skips, a run history explaining scheduling decisions, water and energy statistics, a site map, and a Lovelace card.
The project is still young and has mainly been tested by its author on a 32-zone system.
