@12322v It is not that easy, ers srr speed upgrade in existing line was planned for 110, and now thy are telling max possible is 90. For making curve free land needed and traffic needs to be stopped.

@trainwalebhaiya @_india_new_ Most of these speed upgrades are only on paper. In a section where 100 upgrade happened in kerala there are multiple permanent speed restrictions that puts max speed at 70

@marinebharat The only solution to avoid monsoon TT is the new bypass line with new tunnels or permanent speed restriction at vulnerable places. The money spent on pre monsoon work so far was enough to build a new bypass line.@AshwiniVaishnaw @sureshpprabhu @KonkanRailway
