@m1735h297 You have FFP room but borrowed £290m to buy players . Your club was down to £10mnin liquid cash . You owe £130 m in transfer fees already. Nobody would give you credit . You are at last gambling to avoid disaster . I wish you luck
@adrianbullen@JJToonArmy No club in Spurs position has ffp room. Only city are close as they make money on transfers recently. Spurs don’t have liquid cash, Enic put on £100m and then another £100, which is diluting shares but legal. They borrowed £90m against future tv rights . You can check that all
@iam_commando Spurs have the most FFP room. It means they can spend the most , they have borrowed £300 million and they have great income . They can outspend anyone , like Man Utd, Chelsea then City . Fair play to them . They have the best stadium and they have tremendous income .
@daniel__perkins Spurs don’t have any money. They were down to £20million in cash. They took two £100m cash injections from Enic and got a loan of £90m with future tv revenue as collateral. They do have the most FFP room.
@71dd0_ Spurs are not paying cash up front for anyone . They owe £135million for players they already have mate. The recent unprecedented drop in cash reserves to just £20m lead for Enic to inject £100m twice in recent months. They also took a loan out for £90m from future tv revenue.
@YourMateJez Arsenal have more than made the money to cover the player investment. Remember the summer of 25? 500m to be miles off the pace ? Or when Liverpool built that team for Slott to inherit?
@lazqetjohnson Because of him Spurs have the headroom . The stadium makes a fortune and Spurs also get a £100m write off as it was infrastructure. Spurs are forced to act , but they can thanks to him.
@NostalgicNUFC Spurs are financially the most powerful club in the Prem atm. They have more room under FFP than any and make a load of income from their stadium
Spurs have much more PSR headroom. They have 180-350m a season. Villa have none . Villas salaries to income are much higher .despite all the noise the UEFA was only worth around £40m . Spurs made more last year than Villa , the match day revenue at Spurs is double Villas. Spurs made around £200million more than Villa last season
