In response to the Digital Services Act (DSA), #Roblox has implemented significant changes. The DSA regulates online service providers in the EU, such as Roblox, to establish new rules to combat harmful content while giving EU users new rights.

#Roblox will update its Terms of Use on February 15, 2024. There are new additions, including a different approach for dealing with games whose users persistently breach the Roblox Terms.

Starting TOMORROW, to continue publishing items, UGC Creators must be ID verified and soon upgrade to #Roblox Premium 1000/2200. UGC creators will have until February 26th to upgrade; otherwise, they will not be able to upload. Any existing items will not be taken off-sale yet.

Some #Roblox creators have been recently getting terminated for IP-infringing content they legally do not own from years ago, such as clothing containing brand logos. Many affected creators have previously contacted Roblox to remove these assets, yet they remained up.
