@PaulTassi Don't know how they thought it would do well in an insane gauntlet from Toy Story, to Minions, to Odyssey, to Spider-Man. Would've done better in like April or August.
The best thing was that I thought Milly was great, which is more important for the future of the character.
@PaulTassi My current task list is getting armor/weapon rolls that are "good enough" for multiple fun builds, then actually using those builds to hyper focus specific armor stats and perfect weapons. Keep having to stop myself from going perfectionist right out the gate.
@kingbobstudios I'd love to see them incorporate cut/reworked ideas from the original development. Stuff like the medallions being power-up items (that turned into element arrows/goddess powers). Or give more story/gameplay reasons to swap between young/adult link.
@PaulTassi Yeah I don't understand this comparison. Edge of Fate is a slog at times, but at the very least I can say it's ambitious and tried doing fun unique things. It didn't land, but a ton of effort obviously went in. Shadowkeep is patrol mixed with D1-style missions.
@PaulTassi Honestly a boatload of inventory management. I even started making a spreadsheet of all the stuff I have and am leaving room for in the final update, tracking all combinations of weapons, elements, perks, armor, etc
@A_dmg04 Hey dmg, is Dares of Eternity or it's loot part of the final update? Wasn't sure where it sat in it's weird limbo between a destination and group activity.
@PaulTassi@Forbes Not sure a soft relaunching of D2 as "Infinity" (with same leads/structure) would've saved the game in the long run.
The biggest save for the series for now is a smaller scope, brand new entry. Something separate to keep the series alive that doesn't cost several hundred million
@RogersBase My hot take is that Smash roster prediction is a complete crapshoot. Fans spent years with all these "rules" for what characters could be coming and so many of them get broken over time. After Ultimate, I think there's no way to definitively say what they'll do until it happens.
@HoodlumCallum The thing I never understand is when people complain about "lazy designs", it's like the exact same 5-10 pokemon they pick out. There's over 1000 pokemon. Even if those specific designs actually were "lazy" (they're not), how does that mean designs as a whole are lazy??
@PaulTassi I was worried he was going to try and save the drowning guy and end up getting killed by the fish. He's way past redemption attempts, I just want them to stick with that til the end and see what happens.
@TheTrueVanguard It's sad to say that I miss when online hate and vitriol was done purely for the love of the game, and not artificially made just for engagement. People worked for those dogshit opinions, now it's all people with no personal thoughts on anything generating conflict in a lab.
@ChoctopusYT As someone who's very deep in the community, it's a very welcome fanbase when people actually come in open to enjoying it. And not just people going "WHOA LUL HOW CRAZY AND WEIRD, THE GAMES MAKE NO SENSE". Actually going through the full series massively helps the appreciation.
@TAHK0 It's crazy that this looks like "let's just speed run the other half of SV we never touched yet" lol. Not that I'm opposed, historically even in the best seasons the anime miss large chunks of the game stuff.
