@JoeTegtmeyer The interesting part is that only 26 have the "Cybercab" decals. But all the ones WITHOUT a steering wheel have, what I assume to be a first responders QR sticker, on the bottom left of the windshield. There are also 2 cabs which are fully registered with front license plate.

Interesting development regarding the Cybercab. 43 out of the 44 Cybercabs pictured below DO NOT have a steering wheel. This is the largest collection we've seen so far.

@JoeTegtmeyer There are additional 4 cabs with fully tinted windows. Those are used to give rides at the giga texas campus.

@WorldlyReviewer Your tracker is much better. Keep up the good work. The old tracker has some intentional bad workflows, like marking every new car as a supervised car, even in service areas where there are 0 supervisors.

Regarding the Cybercab, many people actually don't know that the FMVSS as it currently stands don't require a car to have a steering wheel. What the Cybercab lacks for FMVSS compliance as the rules are written today is a foot operated brake pedal and mirrors.

@robotaxi We could really end up with Tesla doing unsupervised Robotaxi rides in 11 cities and 4 states by end of the year. It would really be a great achievement if they're able to do that, considering it will only be 1 and half years since the start of the service.

Wondering where @robotaxi is heading to next? Las Vegas and Phoenix are next and have already been announced almost a year ago. We have 3 cities that aren't announced yet but Tesla is actively hiring for:
1. Fort Worth, TX
2. San Antonio, TX
3. Jacksonville, FL (New)

@jonathaneckmier I don't think they'll ever remove the steering wheel from an existing vehicle. They're not short of Cybercabs without steering wheels to run this tests.

Concerned they're back to using unregistered/manufacturers plates for the Cybercabs without steering wheels. This may indicate a reversal of their original confidence on FMVSS compliance.

For Tesla to keep growing unsupervised robotaxi miles at 10% week over week, they will be forced to operate a usable service with acceptable availability and wait time soon, probably before the end of this quarter. We're seeing some sign of that in Austin.

@WorldlyReviewer You must have expected this to come. You keep calling cars and when they're assigned you're constantly cancelling it. It doesn't matter if you do it instantly or not. A car is still assigned and routed to you making it unavailable for other real riders for that short time.
