@HMRCcustomers Is the Vinted example accurate, that if you sold a dress for £5 more than you paid for it you would have to sell 600 dresses to claim? Where does the £3000 figure come from?
@HMRCcustomers I haven’t found that link helpful. There are items I’ve bought for myself that I’ve changed my mind about e.g clothing/ beauty items. I’ve been having a clear out and sometimes I’ve made more than I paid for the item. So I’m wondering is the Vinted example accurate with £3000?

@HMRCgovuk I’ve a query about selling items on eBay. I frequently buy beauty boxes containing many beauty products. I keep the items I like but sometimes sell the bits I don’t like on eBay. Do I need to create a self assessment if there is a profit made on these?
@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow According to Vinted there’s a £3000 threshold for profit. Very confused as other sources such as yourself suggest £1000 https://t.co/G8szrjsMEx

Be a real pity if #FarageRiots was to trend above Reform on the day their conference begins wouldn't it.
Really hope that doesn't happen.
Be a real downer.
Sad.
