I try to cross post all of my content but if you're not following me on Instagram, that's where I post most frequently! #survivor

Aubry got the tenth smallest winner edit in #Survivor history (41/50). Pre-merge she was 17% under-edited (36/50) and post-merge she was 10% under-edited (44/50).
On average, male winners are 44% over-edited while female winners are 1% under-edited. #Survivor50

*As long as you used that info to bet on Aubry, otherwise you just got screwed.
Update: we continue to investigate insider trading in Survivor markets, but the below still holds true: so far, no traders with large positions seem to have a relationship to the show or to the network. Thousands of traders took early positions consistent with the outcome, likely because of public rumors. And public rumors don't equal insider information.
PSโas a longtime Survivor fan, big congrats to Aubry. Well-deserved win.
man the business itself is the problem. Insider trading has always existed, but these "prediction markets" allow insider trading to dominate all aspects of life. The solution is to stop allowing "trading" on pre-recorded content. But you're not actually trying to solve anything.
@yellowpaintcat@AddisonMueller I intentionally let voters pick >1 person to try to avoid having people pick just one because they think that person will make the end over someone else. But I can't speak for how everyone actually voted.
@AshsDreamboard "We've boxed ourselves in so much that we're forced to make some really dumb decisions but I assure you, there was no way to avoid this!"
@TheBigBroTea So many successful reality TV shows have a reunion because it's a format that works! Why does #Survivor try so hard to be different at every turn instead of just doing things that work?
@TheBigBroTea So we're pretending like they never interviewed players in the middle of the finale? I remember them going this in S35 but I'm sure it's been done other times too.
@SurvivorSFT It's a gray area! I leaned into giving them credit since they got a necklace but can see the argument that it shouldn't count. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
With two individual immunity challenges remaining, Tiffany and Joe have the opportunity to tie the record for most individual immunity wins, and Tiff could set the all-time record for women. #Survivor50
