Dolly Parton once opened up about the health struggles she had been quietly dealing with… and now, watching her talk about it hits completely differently.
She kept going, kept working, kept smiling even when her body was telling her to slow down.

Rest in peace, Dolly Parton the Queen of country music

Andy Kaufman walked onto Johnny Carson’s show pretending he was terrible at impressions then pulled off one of the wildest transformations late-night TV had seen.
He starts as Foreign Man, nervously doing deliberately awful impressions of Archie Bunker and Ed McMahon. Carson and the audience are basically watching a guy who looks completely out of his depth.
Then he says he’s going to do Elvis.
He turns around, changes his clothes, fixes his hair, turns back around and suddenly he’s Elvis.
The voice, the movements, the lip curl, the confidence everything changes. The audience goes from laughing at him to screaming for him.
And just when you think the Elvis impression is the entire joke, Kaufman snaps right back into the awkward Foreign Man character.
That ending is what makes the whole thing work. He made the audience underestimate him before showing them exactly what he could do.
Was Andy Kaufman a genius at controlling an audience, or did the shock of that Elvis transformation make the performance seem better than it actually was ?
Drew Brees says he missed out on more Super Bowl rings with Saints teams that were good enough to win it all.
Marshawn Lynch: “What haven't you done on the football field?”
Drew Brees: “No league MVPs.”
Mike Robinson: “All them damn stats, you should have more Super Bowls than me. You got any regrets or seasons where you feel like, 'I could have done something here to get another ring?' 'Cause if you're in the game more, you win more.”
Drew Brees: “We've all had experiences on teams where you felt like you were good enough to win it all, and it just didn't happen.”
“Of the 20 years I played, there were at least three or four other teams that were good enough to win it all. In some cases, I felt like we truly had the best team in the league.”
“That's what's unique about the NFL. Other leagues have seven-game series; we have one game. If you have an off night or circumstances don't go your way, it's over. You don't get a chance to come back.”
“Take 2011, the most prolific offense in the history of the world. We ended up going to San Francisco and losing in a crazy game.”
“Then 2017, the Minneapolis Miracle. We were rolling. If we win that game, we go to Philly, and we didn't fear them.”
“2018 was the no-call at our place. In my opinion, we had the best team in football that year. If that call is made, we go play the Patriots in the Super Bowl.”
“And then look at 2020, we were good enough to win it all that year, too.”
🚨 JUST IN: Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom is getting MASSIVE support nationwide after he was EJECTED from the game while wearing a shirt with the definition of "woman"
The player YELLED at him, "Sophie Cunningham's not gonna sleep with you!" 🤡
Then Enes walked a few steps toward the court to show off his shirt, defending women
KANTER: "Sophie Cunningham shot a 3, and I put my hands up to celebrate...a couple possessions later, Natasha came back and started SCREAMING and YELLING — and said, 'She's not gonna sleep with you.' And I was like, 'I am not trying to sleep with her. I'm just here to protect women and support her.'"
"After that she started yapping, and she started to walk towards me, and literally I just got up, and I was like, 'I'm just here to protect women, that's all!'" 👏🏻
NFL Legend Harrison Butker— a proud Catholic father kicked an insane 69 yard field goal last night.
This would be a NFL record breaker if the NFL counted pre-season stats.
The kick was so good, the NFL was forced to cover it after a year of excluding him from public communications following his outspoken advocacy for a return to Christian masculinity and fatherhood.
LEGEND. ⚡️
This guy built over 1,000 homes for squirrels and fitted some of them with cameras so he could see how they live
Welcome to the cutest reality TV show out there

🚨 KAROLINE JUST SAID WHAT EVERYONE AROUND HIM ALREADY KNOWS
At the South Carolina rally, Karoline Leavitt stepped up and told the truth about President Trump:
“You can call this man at 6 in the morning. You can call him at 3 in the morning. He picks up the phone… because he’s looking out for YOU.”
Then she got personal:
“It has been the honor of my life to serve as your White House press secretary, sir.”
And the part the media will never run:
“I just want everyone in this room to know how hard this man works for all of you, and for every American across the country, whether they’re Republican or Democrat.”
Layka, a Belgian Malinois, took four rounds from an AK-47 fired at point blank range while protecting her US Army Ranger handler in Afghanistan.
Even with those devastating wounds, she attacked the shooter, subdued him, and saved Staff Sergeant Julian McDonald along with the rest of the team behind her.
That 2013 mission was a direct action special operations raid in which Layka entered a building thought to be empty. It wasn’t. In the darkness, she discovered a man lying motionless in a corner that everyone believed was already dead. She engaged. He was very much alive, and he unleashed six to eight rounds from an AK-47, four of which struck her, shredding her tricep and completely destroying the ball-and-socket joint of her shoulder. She still brought him down.
McDonald dragged her out of the building and drew on his training as a physician’s assistant to give her immediate first aid, buying the critical time she needed to reach a field hospital. Surgeons kept her alive but could not save the leg. It was amputated in the first of several operations, one in theater, and another in Germany.
Medically retired that August, Layka had a determined advocate in McDonald, who refused to let her spend retirement anywhere but with him. He fought to adopt her despite warnings that a dog shaped by war might struggle in a home full of children. The day she arrived, she settled in front of his one year old son and calmly let the toddler climb all over her.
In 2014 Layka appeared on the cover of National Geographic, becoming one of the most recognized war dogs in American history. She spent the rest of her life as a cherished family pet and died at thirteen, given a final tribute by the veterinarians and handlers who had cared for her.
