Wild stuff. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner in 🥵 water and now needs the PA AG’s office to review all attempts to overturn a murder conviction.
“In a forceful and scolding opinion, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that District Attorney Larry Krasner’s office misled the courts, “violated its duty of candor,” and submitted false statements when asking a judge to vacate a 2004 murder conviction.
Justice Kevin Dougherty wrote that prosecutors’ pattern of misleading judges in seeking to overturn murder convictions is so troubling and recurrent that, going forward, before Krasner’s office seeks such relief, judges must notify the state attorney general’s office and allow it to review the case.”
DA Krasner’s Office was playing fast and loose when it came to trying to overturn murder convictions… and then not doing anything after overturning them.
Time and again it has come out that his DAOs lied to the court, hid evidence, or didn’t communicate with the families of the victims.
This isn’t political. The PA Supreme Court is 5-2 Democrat. This is about due process and justice.
Crazy that it has been able to go on for this long without somebody stepping in…
There has been 115 cases…
“The attorney general’s office had filed an amicus brief in support of the families, arguing that, since 2018, Krasner’s office had conceded relief to the defendants in 115 cases in which there was no “adversarial testing” of the case.
Attorney General David Sunday, a Republican, said in a statement Tuesday that his office is grateful to serve “as a check on this process for the citizens of Philadelphia and ensure that the interests of victims’ families are represented.”
When an investigation reveals that a defendant was wrongfully convicted, his office said, prosecutors have a duty to remedy the situation — through the established court processes.
“As the Court noted,” his office said, “this case is about the failure of the process in Philadelphia, both as to this defendant and many others.””

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.
CHASED DOWN AND BEATEN; TU SAYS MOBS OF TEENS ASSAULT STUDENT INSIDE DORM
Temple University officials are warning students to stay aware of their surroundings after a group of 9 teens chased a temple student into the lobby of Morgan Hall and “struck the student”. Officials also say that the group of teens damaged university property. The assault allegedly occurred on 04/19/26 at 02:50am.
The student sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. The University says they are “enhancing patrols” and working with the School District of Philadelphia to identify the offenders.
The university did not provide a possible motive, or a reason why the teens would want to hurt a student. It is also unclear how the mob was able to breach current security protocols and gain access to the TU owned residence hall.
Officials are asking with anyone with information on these offenders to contact police.

Pennsylvania's Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro lawyers up after being named in a Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) case.
According to the complaint "During his diverse official tenure, Respondent Shapiro has engaged in at least ten verified, substantiated, and documented criminal scandals."
“Josh Shapiro.. unlawfully harmed and carried out their crimes against all seven Petitioners and other victims referenced, and incorporated herein, by operating under a clearly established Enterprise of organized criminal racketeering in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Enterprise established is operated across the "Pennsylvania Commonwealth" but is not limited to Commonwealth employees alone. Some of the Respondents are local, state, and federal employees who have corroborated and engaged in this illicit activity for share and common goals to maintain this Enterprise”
"Under Respondent Shapiro's authorization, Respondents McClellan, Wheeler, Smith, Young, and Tarasi, threatened, intimidated, harassed, stalked, kidnapped, colluded, committed fraud, influenced officials in legal proceedings through false testimony and laundered federal funds to obstruct justice in a child abuse scandal and county coverup." "he is assisting in the scandal to conceal and bury all the crimes. This is a common practice, pattern, and strategy for Respondent Shapiro in his capacity as governor, attorney general, and commissioner."
"Respondent Shapiro has also deleted emails relating to the sexual harassment allegations in 2023. He paid hush money to cover up that scandal as well."

A Pennsylvania farmer has rejected a $15 million offer from data center developers, choosing instead to permanently protect his family's land.
Mervin Raudabaugh has lived and worked his farmland in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, for more than 51 years. He milked cows there for decades, and the property holds deep personal meaning—his mother passed away in his arms inside the family barn.
To developers eyeing the land for a high-tech data center, it represented prime real estate near major infrastructure corridors. To Raudabaugh, every acre is an irreplaceable piece of family history.
Last month, he made a decision that surprised the local market: rather than accept the $15 million+ offer, he sold the development rights to his 261-acre property for about $2 million through a conservation easement held by the Lancaster Farmland Trust (with funding and support from Silver Spring Township's preservation program).
This legal agreement permanently restricts the land to agricultural use only—no data centers, no industrial development. The easement binds future owners as well, ensuring the farmland remains green forever.
The developers' pressure was intense; township officials reported aggressive approaches that led Raudabaugh's attorney to consider seeking a court injunction against harassment.
Silver Spring Township has long prioritized preservation. Since a 2013 voter-approved referendum dedicating a portion of earned income tax to farmland, open space, and forest protection (costing the average household roughly $120 per year), the community has preserved 21 properties totaling hundreds of acres.
Raudabaugh can still sell the land someday, but only as farmland—likely fetching far less than the data center deal would have paid. In total, his compensation will be a fraction of the $15 million on the table.
In an era when farmland is increasingly swallowed by digital infrastructure to power AI and cloud computing, his choice stands out as a deliberate stand for heritage, legacy, and community over maximum profit.
For Raudabaugh, the quiet certainty that his family barn and fields will endure outweighs any fortune a tech giant could provide—a powerful reminder that some values transcend dollars.
