A landmark Finnish study has found a sharp rise in psychiatric illness among adolescents following sex-alteration procedures.

The peer-reviewed study, published in Acta Paediatrica, tracked every young person under 23 who contacted Finland's gender clinics between 1996 and 2019.

A total 2,083 individuals were studied, with 16,643 matched controls. They were followed for up to 25 years.

Finland's health registers are mandatory, which means no one opts out — this is the complete national picture.

The numbers: psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in adolescents who underwent feminising reassignment, and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising reassignment.

Even after adjusting for prior psychiatric history, gender-referred adolescents faced five times the risk of male population controls, and three times the risk of female controls.

"Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment," the authors concluded.

Referrals after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment before their first clinic visit, against 15.3% among controls.

The authors' read: for some adolescents, gender distress may be secondary to other mental health challenges.

The evidence keeps mounting. The silencing continues anyway.

I feel that the 25th anniversary of 9/11 has caused a critical mass of Americans to reach an inflection point on their understanding of that event.

We are starting to realize that we lost the Global War on Terror. We did not lose it on military grounds. We lost it on spiritual grounds. Domestically we are succumbing to the goals of Sharia and jihad, which was EXACTLY what the 9/11 terrorists sought to bring about with their heinous actions.

Now that more and more people are seeing this, we can combat it--not with tanks and bombs and rifles alone, but with our words, voices and votes.

We must actively combat the Islamification of America. Sharia and jihad are wholly incompatible with the Constitution. Islam is a political movement hiding beneath the cover of freedom of religion. When a "religion" itself is not free, it is no longer a religion and no longer enjoys the protections the Constitution affords.

It was the many people who senselessly died that day, and more.
All these videos show you a collection of Americans who were dedicated to this country: firemen and others bravely running into the burning buildings to try to save people; politicians who were genuinely appalled, horrified, and righteously indignant at the event; average citizens helping one another, crying with one another. People who were bonded together by loss, compassion, and American determination.
Many of you never knew our country back then.
What I mourn most today is the loss of that American Spirit and the commitment to this country that connected us all.
