@lambeth_council How much longer do we have to live like this? We’ve been fighting severe damp and mould since 2021. In October, the walls were hacked off & covered in "anti-mould" paint, but it's already aggressively back. This is a biohazard.
We are 7 people crammed into 3 beds. My 15yo has slept in the lounge since Jan because she wakes up coughing. My 16yo is trapped on the other side of this room We are ND, and my child and I are now asthmatic because of this property. Do your job. #SocialHousing#Lambeth

You completely ignored your own surveyor’s report and failed to initiate the Cedarcare survey. Covering up structural issues with a lick of paint doesn't work it's taking over the ceilings and window frames. This is neglect.
Can someone tell Lambeth Council to run me the response to my stage 1 complaint 🔊
Gave evidence to the Governments Housing Select Committee this morning …
So @lambeth have an emergency line for what? My carpet in my room is soaked because I’ve had no radiator in there since April because 3 were removed for plastering. My boiler needs filling so I’m without hot water or heating because when trying to fill it the water gushed
All over the floor through the ceiling downstairs in my living room down the walls and the window. I had 2 @wates contractors here when it happened they called the office and they said they send someone to put the rads back on - nobody came! Called the repairs line

Whilst the upgrade cost is projected to be £9.5m, the total cost of the project is likely to be >£20m when taking into account the additional costs of:
- removal of the old tram lines along this stretch of the A23
- implementing Sustainable Urban Drainage
Depression - stress -anxiety all gifted by @lambeth_council I shouldn’t be fighting so hard for a safe and habitable home for me and my children! Disgusting!
High Court Quashes West Dulwich LTN With Immediate Effect – Lambeth
Denied Right to Appeal and Now Faces Questions Over £1m in Fines
London, UK – The High Court has issued a landmark Order, immediately quashing the West
Dulwich Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN), denying Lambeth Council permission to appeal,
and requiring the Council to pay £35,000 towards the legal costs incurred by the West
Dulwich Action Group (WDAG).
The ruling opens the door to serious questions about the £1,080,580 at the last count in
fines issued to residents and motorists since the scheme was introduced — money raised
under what the Court has now declared to be unlawful.
This marks the first time local residents and businesses have successfully overturned an
LTN through the High Court, setting a powerful precedent and raising significant implications
for councils across the UK.
